Travel Programs

The Travel Committee of the AAMC plans exciting trips that feature a wide range of destinations, activities, and educational opportunities—and the camaraderie of traveling with other alumnae.

2014 Tours

Sicily & the Amalfi Coast
September 26–October 5, 2014

The island of Sicily boasts sun-bleached Greek temples, Roman ruins, and ancient amphitheaters. The incomparable Amalfi Coast has its own treasures: Positano, a “vertical” town of pastel buildings that cascade towards the sea; Pompeii, destroyed (and preserved) by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD; and Sorrento and Naples, with their idyllic piazzas and museums.

Treasures of India & Nepal
October 19–November 3, 2014

These countries offer incomparable landscapes and fascinating culture. Discover grand mosques and lively markets in Delhi; relax over dinner with a local family in Jaipur. Set out on a safari at Ranthambore National Park, and marvel at the romantic Taj Mahal. Your journey continues in Kathmandu, with excursions to the sacred Hindu Pashupatinath Temple and the holy Buddhist site Boudhanath.

September 2–16, 2015

Southwest Parks
September 25–October 5, 2015
